The company positions the offering as a response to the cost and inefficiency of managing data across fragmented warehouse environments. By maintaining data residency and enabling direct access from storage platforms, the solution aims to improve compliance, reduce duplication risks, and accelerate insight generation for analysts and data science teams. CEO Bryan Smith emphasized that organizations need fewer points of failure in data management, while VP of Product Lewis Wynne-Jones highlighted the one-click access to both data and metadata as a driver of better decision-making and data democratization.
